Orbit · AIOps

See issues
before customers do.

Orbit is Cymonic’s AI-driven observability accelerator. It sits on top of the monitoring tools you already have, finds problems and patterns across infrastructure, applications and databases, and fixes them, with a person approving the risky ones.

  • Works with your existing monitoring tools
  • Your raw data stays where it is
  • Nothing risky runs without approval

The challenge

Monitoring tells you something is wrong. Not why, or what to do.

  • Problem 1

    Signal overload

Every tool raises its own alerts. One incident that fires in three tools looks like three separate problems.

  • Problem 2

    Pattern blindness

Alerts show what is wrong right now. They do not show the job that fails every Monday at 09:00, or the disk that fills in four days.

  • Problem 3

    Remediation friction

Between knowing and fixing sit tool switching, runbook hunting and manual steps, all under pressure. Resolution takes longer and incidents spread.

How it works

From scattered signals to a fix in one loop.

Orbit connects to your sources, asks them for what it needs, and keeps only what it finds: issues, patterns, root causes and the actions taken.

  1. 01

    Connect

Your monitoring tools, cloud and raw telemetry

  2. 02

    Query

    Asks the source on demand

  3. 03

    Normalise

One common view of every signal

  4. 04

    Analyse

    Detect, correlate, find the cause

  5. 05

    Report

    Ranked issues, patterns, scorecards

  6. 06

    Act

Fix with the right level of control

Orbit is not a data platform. Logs, metrics and traces stay in the systems that hold them. Nothing is copied, so there is no second copy to pay for or secure, and drill-down goes live to the source.

What it finds

Across infrastructure, applications and databases.

  • Infrastructure

The compute, storage and network layer

    • CPU spikes and memory exhaustion
    • Disk fill, predicted before it happens
    • Network saturation
    • Container crash loops and node failure
  • Application

    The running services layer

    • Error-rate spikes and latency increases
    • Service unavailable
    • Memory leaks
    • Queue backlogs and crash loops
  • Database

    The most sensitive layer

    • Slow query surges
    • Connection pool exhaustion
    • Replication lag and lock contention
    • Failed backups

Connects the dots

The high-value finds that point tools miss.

Orbit correlates signals across sources and time, so one root cause shows up as one issue, with an AI-assisted explanation of what happened and why.

  • Cross-source

    Deploy → error spike

A deploy event plus a rise in 5xx errors minutes later points to a bad release.

  • Cross-layer

    Database slow → app latency

A slow-query surge plus a higher API response time is a database bottleneck reaching your API.

  • Over time

    Memory leak → crash loop

Memory creeping up for hours, then an out-of-memory kill, then restarts: one leak, not three alerts.

  • Cascade

    Disk fill → backup failure

Disk pressure, a failed backup and slower queries traced back to one cause.

Closing the loop

Fixes with control built in.

Every action has a risk level, and the risk level decides how much a person is involved.

  • Trust Levels

    Approval by risk

    • Low risk: runs automatically
    • Medium risk: runs, and the on-call engineer is told
    • High risk: needs explicit approval
    • Critical: needs two approvers
  • Safety

    Tested before trusted

    • Dry-run mode shows what would happen
    • State is captured before any fix
    • Automatic rollback and escalation if it gets worse
  • Accountability

    Every step recorded

    • Runbook library, plus AI-suggested fixes for new issues
    • Effectiveness tracked after each fix
    • Immutable audit trail of every action
